Salt Spring Coffee @ Epic Expo

This past Sunday we ventured over to the Epic Expo in the new Vancouver convention centre. Last year at the inaugural event we were impressed by the number of local coffee roasters touting their “green” joe. While there certainly weren’t as many exhibitors this year, Salt Spring Coffee was on hand to let folks taste their new micro-lot brew. The micro-lot coffee from Peru is incredibly sweet. It doesn’t need milk or sugar. It is that mild. It is beyond single origin, it is from just one farm. They also found it awesome that we were blogging about them as we stood there.

Salt Spring earns bonus “eco” points for using glass mugs instead of plastic at their booth. But I would expect no less from this Fair-Trade, Organic, Carbon-Neutral coffee producer. The Peru Micro-Lot is only available while quantities last from Salt Spring Coffee Cafe locations in Vancouver.
