House wine at Aldo’s

It’s Friday! And it’s briefly sunny. If that isn’t a good reason to celebrate, I don’t know what is. We’re at Aldo’s, an Italian restaurant on Columbia in New West. The house red is thin and a bit harsh. But I’m pretty sure it has alcohol in it, did I mention it’s Friday?

The pizza is that perfect thickness. Not so thick that all you taste is dough. Yet not so thin as to fall apart under the weight of greasy cheese. The crust has a dryness that helps compensate for the juicy toppings.

Verdict: great pizza, and the house wine has alcohol!
