Black Widow Winery 2007 Pinot Gris
I admit it. I pick wine by the label. I love really beautiful labels. Black Widow definitely qualifies. Black Widows are just sexy, unless you have arachnophobia. The beautiful bottle holds a tasty wine. I wish I'd discovered this one in the summer. It doesn't go at all with the pouring rain of November. The wine is really fresh, faintly tangy, and entirely drinkable. It has aromas of apple, and something that I can only describe as freshness, like the air after a good spring rain. This one of our favourites. It’s hard to find. We found it at Brewery Creek Cold Beer and Wine Store, at 3045 Main St.
The Garnacha de Fuego has a rich, dark fruity aroma. It’s smooth and warm, like a kiss from a beautiful brunette. Kayla confirms. It’s definitely a brunette, not a blond.
